UBER Recruiting Event

A number of local media outlets were invited to the PR and promotional event.

The Challenge

 

In 2016, I led and designed the first UBER Changsha recruiting event, including the online advertising campaign, and an on-site Happy Hour with featuring brand identity and swag design. A number of local media outlets were invited to the PR and promotional event.

The HTML5 Advertising

 

The HTML5 was designed under the global palette guideline. In order to mix local culture with UBER’s, I created a local icon firework as sparks.

 

The biggest challenge of this project was to deliver the whole content in less than one minute. What I did to solve this challenge was to create a storyline to attract more users, and use streamlined text and rapidly accumulated images to highlight the key points.

The on-site Branding Swags

 

Uber just rebranded globally one month before the recruiting event.

In order to arouse the guests' awareness of the UBER black color while promoting its rebranding,

I set the theme as "Welcome to UBER planet." To design the swags, I added the delightful nee color palette into the dark background. 

The Impact

 

The mobile advertisement gained 14,000+ PV and 300+ sharing in two weeks before the event.

We invited 10+ local media, and outstanding candidates from across the country.
